Police raids the houses of the hotel owner & the organizers of PTI’s prisoners’ iftaar dinner

The iftar dinner held in honour of Tehreek-e-Insaf prisoners in Lahore made headlines, as the police raided the homes of the hall owner where the event took place and the organizers. Since April 2022, after toppling Imran Khan’s government through a military-backed vote of no-confidence, the Pakistani regime has blatantly violated human rights in an effort to suppress Imran Khan’s movement. These human rights violations include and are not limited to threats, harassment, illegal and arbitrary detentions, abductions, and violence.
