ہجوم دیکھ کے رستہ نہیں بدلتے ہم
کسی کے ڈر سے تقاضا نہیں بدلتے ہم
ہزار زیر قدم راستہ ہو خاروں کا
جو چل پڑیں تو ارادہ نہیں بدلتے ہم
اسی لیے تو نہیں معتبر زمانے میں
کہ رنگ صورت دنیا نہیں بدلتے ہم

ہجوم دیکھ کے رستہ نہیں بدلتے ہم

We do not change our path at the sight of a crowd
Nor do we alter our demands out of fear
ہزار زیر قدم راستہ ہو خاروں کا
جو چل پڑیں تو ارادہ نہیں بدلتے ہم
Though the path beneath our feet is thorny
Once we set out, we do not change our resolve
اسی لیے تو نہیں معتبر زمانے میں
کہ رنگ صورت دنیا نہیں بدلتے ہم
