The attorney and proposer of PTI candidate Zahid Iqbal arrested upon arrival at RO office

The attorney and the proposer of the PTI candidate from PP-234, Zahid Iqbal, were arrested upon arrival at the RO office, where they came for scrutiny. Since April 2022, after toppling Imran Khan’s government through a military-backed vote of no-confidence, the Pakistani regime has blatantly violated human rights in an effort to suppress Imran Khan’s movement. These human rights violations include and are not limited to threats, harassment, illegal and arbitrary detentions, abductions, and violence.
