Sargodha: PTI candidate Shafqat Awan beaten and abducted along with his brother, brother’s son and cousin
PTI’s candidate, Shafqat Awan, beaten & abducted, and his car left broken. He was merely exercising his constitutional and democratic rights.
PTI’s candidate for the upcoming elections, Shafqat Awan, was beaten and abducted, and his car was left broken, only because he was exercising his constitutional and democratic rights.
Moreover, his brother, brother’s son and cousin have also been abducted, and are being tortured to make Shafqat Awan step down from the contest.
Since April 2022, after toppling Imran Khan’s government through a military-backed vote of no-confidence, the Pakistani regime has blatantly violated human rights in an effort to suppress Imran Khan’s movement. These human rights violations include and are not limited to threats, harassment, illegal and arbitrary detentions, abductions, and violence.
