PTI candidate from PP265, Chaudhry Sajjad Waraich, bears witness to police harassment and brutality on PTI candidates and the rejection of his nomination papers. Since April 2022, after toppling Imran Khan’s government through a military-backed vote of no-confidence, the Pakistani regime has blatantly violated human rights in an effort to suppress Imran Khan’s movement. These human rights violations include and are not limited to threats, harassment, illegal and arbitrary detentions, abductions, and violence.
