Returning officer refuses to accept the ticket of PTI candidate Eman Tahir from her lawyers & instructs police to arrest the lawyers

In a clear violation of the election procedures, the returning officer (RO) refused to accept the ticket of PTI candidate Eman Tahir from her lawyers and then instructed police to arrest the lawyers submitting the ticket.

Our lawyers presented the party tickets before the RO which he REFUSED to accept for no reason at all. After which he had the gall to instruct police to arrest them. @ECP_Pakistan, take action NOW.

Since April 2022, after toppling Imran Khan’s government through a military-backed vote of no-confidence, the Pakistani regime has blatantly violated human rights in an effort to suppress Imran Khan’s movement. These human rights violations include and are not limited to threats, harassment, illegal and arbitrary detentions, abductions, and violence.
