Sheikhupura: PTI Candidate Arshad Manda arrested

PTI candidate for the upcoming elections in NA-114 Sheikhupura, Arshad Manda, was arrested by Punjab Police. With elections right around the corner, these tactics ensure that a level playing field isn’t offered to all parties, and further erode the trust of people in Pakistan’s democracy.

Since April 2022, after toppling Imran Khan’s government through a military-backed vote of no-confidence, the Pakistani regime has blatantly violated human rights in an effort to suppress Imran Khan’s movement.
