Allama Iqbal

Shikwa (Translation: Complaint) is a poem written by Allama Iqbal. It was first recited by Iqbal in 1909 at a gathering of the Anjuman-i-Himayat-i-Islam in Lahore.

Jawab-e-Shikwa (Translation: Answer to the Plaint) is a poem written by Allama Iqbal as a response to his earlier work, Shikwa (The Plaint). It was first recited by Iqbal in 1913 at a mushaira held at Mochi Gate, Lahore.
